Modern cities’ right-of-ways (ROWs) are crowded with water, sewer, telecommunication, and power cables - critical infrastructure for the operation of our communities. Infrastructure projects have been increasing in size and complexity over the years, and subsurface utility engineering (SUE) practices help utility owners and contractors to decrease project risks and protect assets. This webinar will discuss important SUE guidelines and tools.
The first presentation, “UESI Updates on the ASCE 38 and SUE for Municipalities Recent Release” by Lawrence Arcand from 4Sight Utility Engineers, will go over the recent ASCE 38 updates and important Utility Coordination best practices.
Jamie Bradburn, from T2 Utility Engineers, will present “MCGPR and its Applications”. He will examine the 3D imaging of high-density Multi-Channel Ground Penetrating Radar technique and discuss how it can produce a plan image of what is buried beneath a survey area.
